“Mladost” Futog Cultural Center hereby confirms that the exhibition of sculptures and installations of Viktorija Janić, entitled “The Fibonacci spiral – art of the mathematical rule of thirds – the art of paper filigree,” was held in the center gallery in the period 15-29 September 2022.

Additionally, the artist curated the exhibition and held children’s workshops for pupils of “Desanka Maksimović” elementary school from Futog.

The Children’s Week 2022 was also a part of the official program of Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture in 2022, within the Kaleidoscope section.

Who was Leonardo Fibonacci and what is his legacy to the human kind? Who is the artist who merges mathematics and art, and why and to whom does she create such art form by exploring methodistic aspects and approaches? The youngest and sweetest pupils of Futog learned about the art technique of paper filigree, about the symbolism of composition elements, and other similar questions, during the 2022 Children’s week by Mladost Futog Cultural Center.
