Sunflower

The symbolism of a sunflower in different parts of the world is mostly related to the most important aspects of life. Sunflower is a symbol of wisdom, happiness, health, fertility and longevity. It rotates towards the sun and, again, symbolizes the Sun, persistence, and profound affection; and is hence called the flower of the Sun. It is a flower of spiritual growth, of flexibility and possibilities. Related to it, according to some beliefs, is its representation of wealth and ambition.

Sunflowers mesmerized the ancient civilizations, artists, designers, musicians, the same way as they have mesmerized me, making me admire it anew every day. Sunflower is the perfect mathematical sample of Fibonacci numbers in nature.
