Being from Vojvodina is a privilege. The farm fields of Vojvodina are a special experience. The valley is vibrant with tranquility, serenity, and optimism. There are always things to do in the fields and ranches of Vojvodina, but there are also the rewarding feasts that come afterwards, after we bear fruits of our labor.
Here we see sunflowers fields of Vojvodina, because sunflowers are also early birds. They are tireless workers and industrious; at dawn, whole fields of sunflowers rise up, all facing east, and start their love romance with the rising sun throughout the whole day moving their heads westward. At night, sunflowers face east again, anticipating the sun’s return. They do this every morning until they get old, when they finally stop moving.
There are also storks to complement this installation to represent a proof of the relationship between the Fibonacci sequence and the Pascal’s triangle. An interesting fact in mathematics of Pascal’s triangle is that its diagonals sum to the Fibonacci sequence. In Roman and Greek mythology, storks are a symbol of affection towards parents, and a holy symbol of Juno, the Roman goddess of hearth and home.
