The window is a symbol of freedom, a pathway to the fresh air, to knowledge, people or objects. The wide window view recites the days of the past and the future, and testifies to the transience of human existence.
This installation depicts the tradition of one warm family home. Sewn curtains hang in thick folds on the windows, a wall painted and decorated with the Fibonacci pattern and, finally yet importantly, a window ledge decorated with beautiful and delicate violets dressed in a folk costume, looking into the sensible and familiar. Violets symbolize eternal love and fidelity, modesty and spiritual wisdom. If you take a good look at the flock of birds out of the window, you will surely notice the Fibonacci sequence.
