Lotus

Lotus is a magnificent plant, symbolizing a flower that grows in a stagnant pond, dirty, still water, yet remains intact and thus keeps all its beauty and splendor. Furthermore, it symbolizes purity, nobility and intelligence. In China, Buddha sits on a lotus flower, while in India this flower symbolizes eternal youth and universal beauty. It is untainted and stands for the spiritual growth of humankind. Its root is in the soil, flower stem in the water, its leaves in the air, and the flower itself always facing the Sun. Within it, it carries the essence of life. Metaphorically speaking, each one of us follows the same path to develope, grow and reach our best and uniquely characteristic look.
