The Nook

Besides this work of art displays a bouquet of sunflowers, fascinating examples of the Fibonacci sequence found in nature, it also displays a cozy nook of one harmonious family home with its family members.

A bouquet of sunflowers introduces members of one family, with a vase holding them together as a whole. However, what you see at the second glance is that the vase consists of shattered, yet harmoniously joined pieces of a once whole vase to make it seem like a whole – but then again it is all, but not a whole. Shattered and broken pieces are glued together in order to restore the original shape and condition of this vase as closely as possible, at least seemingly to the observer.
