The Petrovaradin Fortress – The Clock Tower

The Clock Tower is the symbol of the Fortress of Petrovaradin, and the symbol of the city of Novi Sad. It stands on the St. Louis Bastion and dates back to the beginning of the 18th century. This was a precious gift from the Austrian Empress Maria Theresa, and in time, gained the remarkable reputation of the most recognizable sight of Novi Sad.
